PO. Box 1075 Glebe NSW 2037 Australia. Statement 19th January 2007. Clearly there has been a breach of style by one or more persons concerning those who are descendants of the Noble House of Said. The following statements is clear and based on the laws of 1926 Italian Nobility.
1. Only those closely related can style "dei
Principe de Sayd" as per rules of Italian law. This means those who are at
least grand children of the Principe de Sayd can style such an effect, no
distant relative can use such style.
2. No one can style the title of Prince without
authorisation from at least the Head of the Imperial House of Osmani, apart
from the Head of the noble House of Said.
3. The head of the House of Said is acknowledged
by the papacy over the centuries as heirs of Djem Osmani, but we do not
claim as heirs of the Ottoman Empire since the direct line died out in the
17th century. We are merely carrying forward a tradition of heritage as most
titled families have done and pose no threat or pretension or claiming
to be "Pretenders of the Imperial House of Osmani".
4. Junior descendants can not style or make
claims other then being a descendant. No parties can promote or evaluate
such person without expressed authorisation from Imperial House of Osmani.
Note: The Imperial House of Osmani are the descendants and claimants of the Ottoman Empire (Turkey).
