www.maltagenealogy.com supports cause for France to loan the Valette sword to Malta

Press Release: 15 January 2012

The Valette sword does not belong to Malta but to France.  This has always been our opinion.

We recently received news from Mr. Jamie Vella who is running his campaign to have the sword returned to Malta that he is now resigned to the fact that Malta has no real legal claim to ownership of the sword. We are honored to have received a personal invitation from him to now support his cause, as corrected.

These two links were provided by Mr. Vella: http://www.maltatoday.com.mt/en/newsdetails/news/national/Thousands-clamour-for-return-of-La-Valette-s-sword-to-Malta-20120109 and http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=xEYoRFAqOBk

www.maltagenealogy.com feels a request to the lawful owner that it may loan the sword for display in Malta might help put history back on the rails.

The loan will symbolize the hope past misstatements of Maltese history are corrected. If you now agree the sword belongs to France, then you agree pre-British history needs reassessment. Those whose claims depend on false histories are in for a rough ride because more than 5500 people are now showing they do not stand any more nonsense.

www.maltagenealogy.com supports Mr. Jamie Vella’s cause to persuade the Government of France to loan Valette's Sword and Dagger to Malta, and we ask our regular readers to also support his group.
