FERRO ATTARD MONTALTO. On November 2, at Villa Messina, Rabat, MARY RITA, née Sceberras Trigona, widow of Rosario, aged 87, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her sister Doris and her husband Major Joe Attard Montalto, her nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral took place yesterday. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

Beloved widow of Oscar and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she leaves to mourn her irreparable loss her children Vincent and his wife Angela née Orr, Ninnia and her husband John Attard, Mariella and Josen Darmanin Demajo, Josette and her husband John Salamone Reynaud and John and his wife Claire née Sullivan, her adored grandchildren Roberta, Vanessa, Suzanne, Mark, Lisa, Simon, Rachel, Gavin, David, Ruth, Justin and Lynne, and their respective spouses and partners, her treasured great-grandchildren Isaac, Jamie and Timothy, her brother Ronnie and his wife Connie, her sister-in-law Patricia dei Conti Stagno Navarra, many other relatives and friends. Mass praesente cadavere will be celebrated tomorrow at 2.30 p.m. at Stella Maris parish church, Sliema, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. CREMONA. On October 10, BEATRICE, née Stilon, widow of Prof. Felice Cremona LL.D, passed away peacefully at the venerable age of 103, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her daughters Anna Buttigieg, Maria wife of Chief Justice Emeritus Prof. Giuseppe Mifsud Bonnici, and Dr Giovanna Cremona, her grandchildren Sandra and Stephen, Maria and Michael, Franco and Anna, Josette and Joseph, Marie and Tonio, Anna, Juliette and George, Felice and Susan, Robert and Catherine, her great-grandchildren Dawn, Andrea, Luke, Giulio, Pia, Michaela, Daniela, Gabriella, Duncan, Nicholas, Oliver, Nicola, Philippa, Maia and Julian, her nephews and nieces Marion Agius Vadala, Lea Harding, Mario Stilon DePiro, Rudolph Stilon, Mariella Abela, Franco Stilon, Gino Refalo, Dino Stilon and Mila Pignatelli and their familes. Mass praesente cadavere will be said at the Jesuits' church, Merchants Street, Valletta, on Monday at 10.30 a.m. No flowers by request but donations to charitable institutes will be appreciated. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Casa Antonia for their care and assistance. May the Lord grant her eternal rest.

Married recently at Our Lady of Victory church, Naxxar, were Monique Troisi, daughter of Professor Joseph Troisi and Pauline Troisi of Naxxar, and Guillaume Brosse, son of assistant professor François Brosse and Anne Brosse of Nancy, France.

Nuptial Mass was celebrated by Fr Gordon Refalo. Emilie Brosse, the groom's sister and Wael Nassar witnessed the ceremony. Christopher Troisi, the bride's brother was best man.

The bride was attended by Marcelle Troisi, the bride's sister as bridesmaid.

Later, a reception was held at Castello Zammitello, Mġarr.

The couple spent their honeymoon in Guadeloupe and Martinique in the Caribbean.

Cremona DDS, RMA rtd, aged 84, widower of Rosemary and son of the late Salvatore and the Noble Beatrice Testaferrata Moroni Viani, passed away peacefully at his residence in Ta' Xbiex comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his children, Kathleen and her husband Wolf Ruediger vom Schloss, Peter and his wife Eva, Jennifer and her husband Peter Zammit, David and Fiona, his grandchildren, Nicola, Hannah, Samuel, Andy, Antonio and Daniella, his sister Mary and her husband Cesare Benvenuti, sister in-law Tessie Azzopardi, Joanna and Benjamin, nephews, nieces, relatives and dear friends. The funeral leaves Saint James Capua Hospital today at 9.15 a.m. for Ta' Xbiex parish church, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9.30 a.m., followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza will be appreciated. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors. Lord grant him eternal rest.

The Noble Candace McCutcheon, daughter of late The Noble Peter McCutcheon Teuma Castelletti, Contino di Ghajn Tuffieha and Judy Cowan, wed Patrick Lernihan Jr., son of Patrick Sr. and Mary Lernihan, on the 3rd of August 2008. The Civil Ceremony took place at the Bellagio Hotel in the State of Nevada and was witnessed by many friends and family. Duties of the Best Man were carried out by Mr. Emmett O'Duffy. The Bride was attended by Miss Andrea Burliegh as Maid of Honour. Place of Honour was given to The Most Noble Mary Frances Teuma Castelletti-McCutcheon, 6th Contessa di Ghajn Tuffieha, as Grandmother to the bride.
Candace and Patrick are now residing in Dublin Ireland.

The marriage took place on June 7 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel parish church, Balluta, St Julian's, between Karl, son of Dr and Mrs George Depasquale of Birkirkara and Nicolette, daughter of Mr and Mrs Robert Balani of Kappara. Nupital Mass was concelebrated by His Excellency Bishop Annetto Depasquale, Mgr Victor Grech and Rev. Jonathan Farrugia. The ceremony was witnessed by Mr John Balani, Miss Justine Balani, Miss Antonella Zammit and Miss Alexia Critien. The duties of best man were carried out jointly by Mr Raphael Borg Ellul Vincenti and Mr Darren Sillato. The bride was attended by Miss Deborah Camilleri Briffa as maid of honour, while Miss Sandra West, Miss Sunaina Balani and Miss Gillian Balani were bridesmaids. Miss Jeanine Depasquale was flower girl. Acting as ushers were Dr Malcolm West, Mr Vishal Balani, Mr Rohan Mirpuri and Mr Keith Sammut. A reception was later held in the gardens of Villa Bologna

Fr Claude Portelli celebrated Mass. The ceremony was witnessed by Ms Edith Hili and Dr Matthew Bianchi, LL.D. The duties of best man were carried out by Mr Michael Mifsud. Miss Ilaria E. Sullivan was bridesmaid. Miss Amelia Camilleri and Miss Matthea Bianchi were flowergirls. Master Shaun Said and Master Andrew Bartoli were pageboys. Mr Remy Said acted as usher. A reception was later held at the Hilton, St Julian's.

The funeral leaves his residence today at 1.45 p.m. for the Metropolitan Cathedral, Mdina, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2 p.m., followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request by donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated.

The marriage took place on May 17 at St Gregory's parish church, Sliema, between EDWARD, son of Charles and Victoria Houlton of Sliema, and CAMILLA, daughter of George dei Conti Stagno Navarra and Madeleine, also of Sliema. Mass was celebrated by Fr Leonard Mahoney and concelebrated by Fr Joseph Farrugia. The ceremony was witnessed by Ms Fleur Houlton and Mrs Petra Griffiths. The duties of best men were shared between Mr Matthew Sultana and Mr Darrell Fiorini. Mr Jeffrey Green, Mr Peter Griffiths and Mr Darren Camilleri acted as ushers. The bride was attended by Mrs Antonia Debono and Mrs Petra Griffiths. A reception was later held at Villa Bologna, Attard. The couple are spending their honeymoon in Ireland and Scotland.
