“Di questa famiglia, la qual crediamo sia stata nel Gozo habbiamo una sola memoria, & e’ che dal Re’ Federico si ravvisa essere stato conceduto a’ Bocchio di Bocchio il territorio nominato la Grua, posto in dett’ Isola, per lui, e suoi eredi legittimamente discendenti dalla sua diritta linea, sotto riconoscimento d’annuo censo di quattro tumola di vettovaglie, some si legge nella regia Cancellaria ” (From Abela’s “Della Descrittione di Malta del Commendatore Abela” (1647))
