The part of the family of which my materials treat begins with the marriage of two distant cousins: Jofre Gil de Borja y Doms (d.ca 1437) and Isabel de Borja, dau.of Domingo de Borja, and sister of Alonso de Borja, who became in 1455 Pope Calixtus III. Jofre and Isabel had issue:
