'The Noblesse Arms of the Marquis's Cassar de Sain'
Born Rosemary Cassar-Desain on 25th April 1934 at St Julian's Malta in Villa Leoni. Parents are Evelyn Cassar Torregani and father James, Marquis Cassar-Desain.
Rose is the eldest of a family of eight: Anne born 1937, Anthony Marquis(deceased) born 1938, Lawrence born 1940, Veronica born1941, Christine born 1943, Natalie born1949, Michael born1950. Moved to Ta-Xbiex into Villa Sunshine then later on moved to Villa Deutchland during the war. After the war moved to Villa Pinto opposite the Sacred Heart School. Then again to St Julians in Grenfell Street. Soon after back to Villa Sunshine Ta-Xbiex and another move later to Castille Square Valletta corner with Strada San Paolo now known as Castille Hotel Came over to the UK and stayed. Started work in London. Married 1960 to Lawrence Cecil Sevitt. Lived in Israil for two years and worked in an antique shop. Came back to England and divorced in 1973. Living on my own at the present moment I went to evening classes specialising on genealogy for several years.
