The idea has been put forward to create an international group of interested individuals who are descendants of Maltese nobility including those of Foreign creations not part of the Committee of Privileges in Malta and also those descendants of Sovereigns of Malta as an online group. Though in this case members would receive six monthly newsletters with updates and announcements, new members, and the latest researches. A progressive society with the aim to link those who are either members, distant kin to the Maltese nobility, members of the European nobility and Royalty whom are descendants of Sovereigns and Nobles of Malta. A private network base stemming of the main interest to Maltese history, heritage and also formalising one's connection which is fast becoming lost in this modern world. A personal satisfaction which is not being offered by either Nobility groups in Malta.
Membership would only be accepted from persons who can prove their descent, up to the 4th generation and those that are members of European nobility and and/or Royalty and from those of modern Maltese nobility whom are easily located on maltagenealogy.com and below. In cases of illegitimate connections would need to prove their links with documents signed by Notaries or Lawyers. 1. The Kings and Queens of Malta. 4. Titles granted by the Grand Master of Malta 5. Foreign Titles creation to Maltese citizens
Acknowledgement and acceptance is the first step in becoming a member, following a certificate with your ancient right in style. Also a genealogical tree showing linkage to Nobility. A website (dedicated to this group) would be created of those members in the appropriate listings of above and the ideals of the Society. We are aiming to bring our membership to about 100 persons as a starting point with two or three Members on the Council of the the Society. A membership fee would be charged annually. There would be no meetings or outings, though an online presence as such or partipation in newsletters. And on special or rare occasions in Malta a 'special tour or outing would be announced'. Any profits to go to a "nominated" Maltese charity organisation.
The society would be designed to become an authority for all nobility in Malta and most importantly recognising descendants and Titleholders. Our aim would be to be for a presence on the Noble scene and a publication in the Malta year book. Lastly, this is simply an idea looking for either support or denial for the coming months.

Royal Class member - Those of royal descent within four generations. 1st Class member - Titled persons including hereditary titled siblings. 2nd Class member - Sons/Daughters of titled and those of Royal descent within eight generations. 3rd Class member - descendant within four generations to titled. 4th Class member - descendant within eight generations to titled. 5th Class member - descendant after eight generations to titled. Friend of the Society - non descendant of the nobility or royalty. Associate of the Society - A descendant of the nobility though not proven with documentation.
