Barone de Bandino (Bondino) 1398 and 1400.
“Di questa famiglia ci da’ motivo di credere sia stata delle qualificate, il ravvisare, che in atti pubblici di matrimonij, oltre I titoli soliti allora darsi a’ principali nostri Cittadini, apparisce haver contratto parentela con case primarie, poiche in uno si dice, che il nobile Michele Bondino, figluol del Nobile Nicolo’, che fece il suo testamento nel 1520 prende per moglie Donna Caterina figluola del nobile Giovanni Calava’, e della defonta allora Donna Paola sua moglie, e che una sorella di detto Michele, ch’ haveva anche nome Donna Paola, come si cava da un’ altra scrittura, era maritata con Matteo Falsone. Dal sudetto Nicolo’ fu’ eretta la Capella dedicate alla B. Vergine di Loreto, dentro la Chiesa dell’ Annunziata de’ Reverendi Padri Carmelitani, a favour de quali egli fece un pio legato, come si legge in detto testamento”(From Abela’s “Della Descrittione.
